The Epic of the Persian Kings!

The project was called “30”, thirty nights of performance, a well-crafted mixture of music, cinema and theatre. Sponsored by Samsung, the campaign’s agenda was not to promote the sponsorship directly but to attract more people to participate in this magnificent cultural event.

This multimedia project was a joint production of Sohrab Pournazeri (musician) and Homayoun Shajarian (vocalist), to be an epic and artistic narrative of Shahnameh (The Book of Kings) written by Persian poet Ferdowsi.

Shahnameh is one of the greatest long epic poems in the history of mankind, a masterpiece and the largest document of Persian identity.
